I must admit that upon receiving my copy of Molten Meditation Two it made my day. I have wanted a second CD ever since I finished listening to the first!
The concept behind Molten Meditation is instrumental music with Scripture gently intertwined. The goal is giving the listener a few moments in the middle of the craziness of life to experience a time of peace and meditation. In tracks ranging from 12 to 15 minutes a different Scripture verse is highlighted. It is spoken softly during the instrumental music then repeated after the listener has time to take in the message. Molten Meditation One (MM1) covered verses from Matthew, 1 John, Ephesians and Romans. Molten Meditation Two (MM2) takes us back into Matthew and Ephesians with new verses, but this time also adds verses from Psalms and 2 John.
Just as in the first, the music is lovely and the Scriptures included are very well chosen – they are encouraging and perfect for time out of a hectic day. The quality of the CD is excellent and it is sure to please listeners once again.
But that is not all that you can be excited about. In conjunction with the release of MM2, a DVD has been produced. In the DVD they selected verses from both MM1 and MM2 and created a beautiful visual representation of the verses. Images may come to mind automatically during the listening of the CD, but the DVD makes the experience that much better. Bright colors, real world images, and the words of the Scripture on the screen create a more meaningful experience. What a great addition to the Molten Meditation collection!
