Sheerluck Holmes and the Golden Ruler

What is friendship? Ask the Veggie Tales crew – Bob the tomato and Larry the Cucumber - and they’ll tell you it’s sticking by your pal no matter what. But they don’t just tell you – they have a story. This particular show has two stories.

The first is the Asparagus of LaMancha, which is LaHilarious! Don Quixote owns a restaurant with his sidekick Poncho and they are despaired when a new restaurant moves into town across from them. The Food Factory which boasts "food as big as your head" starts to run Café LaMancha out of business. Even though the owner of the Food Factory offers Poncho a new job, Poncho won’t leave his friends side.

The second story is the title of the movie – Sheerluck Holmes and the Golden Ruler. This time, Sheerluck (Larry) is faced with a tough case and inadvertently hurts his best friend, Dr. Watson. When Larry is shown the error of his ways, he realizes how much he hurt Watson and realizes what being a true friend is all about.

As always, Veggie Tales delivers strong morals underneath a hilarious story. And also, as always, they have some great music to go along with it! This episode has the silly song, "Gated Community" where Larry is standing in front of the gated community fence, despairing that his ball was accidentally kicked into the tree and begs them to let him in to free his beloved toy. You can’t miss with this wonderful story!
