After 25 consecutive #1 singles, seven incredible albums (which include a Christmas album and rarities/remix album), countless concerts and endless success, Point of Grace has once again produced a project that is sure to minister to thousands of people. And I’m not just talking about the CD, "Girls of Grace." There will be a conference starting shortly that will deal with issues that teenage girls care about -- like clothes, boys, family, etc. Also, watch for a devotional book and a journal. But right now, let me tell you about this incredible CD.

The album kicks off with a very country-sounding song. You have to double check the CD to make sure you’ve got Point of Grace in there, rather than the theme music for a hoedown. "My Heart is Set On You" is in some ways the biggest musical departure for Point of Grace’s history, but is also the most singable, enjoyable song on the entire record. The other two Point of Grace songs on this disc are also outstanding. They are the slow-moving "All I’ll Ever Need" (which was featured on the Dove Awards this year) and the upbeat, kickin’ "Love of Christ" (which is another of the most singable songs on the album).

The two biggest departures on this album (other than the aforementioned "My Heart is Set On You") are "Every Move I Make" and "Promise My Prayers." Out of Eden’s "Every Move I Make" is a departure because of the very urban-sounding arrangement. Rachael Lampa’s "Promise My Prayers" is different because of the lyrics. While the rest of the album focuses on worship songs, this song is more about friends or family that are going away. The singer talks about promising prayers wherever they are and whatever happens.

Two of the biggest highlights on the album are the breathtaking performance from Christy Nockels of Watermark, "Breath of God" and the amazing song from Joy Williams, "Live to Worship," which will bring tears to your eyes.

Terry Jones, Shelley Breen, Denise Jones and Heather Payne are four of the most beautiful, genuine, inspiring and talented ladies in Christian music. They’ve done so much in the lives of people, and now are taking the next step with this worship project. Don’t miss it -- it will release August 20, 2002.
