Kara Williamson is a name that you may not recognize right away, but I'm sure you've heard her voice. Kara has gone through several musical transformations.

After singing for several years with her family, Kara, her brother, Scott and sister, Aimee Joy formed the group Three Strand. Three Strand had a great CD and a single called "Jesus, I Will." After Three Strand went their separate ways, Kara released her own CD simply titled "Kara" that resulted in the hit song "Hungry." Now, Kara is giving us her music "Undisguised."

This title is truly appropriate for this CD. This album reflects a passion that Kara feels for her God, her faith and her desire to worship. This album is spectacular. The best song is the first single, "Where You Are" which is a simple, but very poetic plea to be close to God.

I wanna lose myself in all that You are
I want You to have every inch of my heart
I wanna find myself held up in the arms
Of the one who spoke and created the stars
I wanna be where You are

Another lovely highlight of this CD is a remake of Michael W. Smith's song "Never Been Unloved."

Sometimes I have been unwise
I've been undone by what I'm unsure of
But because of You, and all that
You went through
I know that I have never been unloved

There are a large number of worship/pop artists that are in stores today. However, Kara is unique. She sings with an honestness in her voice and her songs. Through "Three Strand", "Kara" and now "Undisguised" this young woman is baring her soul and is well worth a listen.
