Erin Hutchison is a new artist, drawing a comparison to fellow singer/songwriter, Nichole Nordeman. If that isn't enough to make you run out and purchase her CD, maybe her lyrics will.
Erin writes about real life experiences. "Hero" is about a good friend in the Army who lost her life fighting for her country. "You're Not Alone" was dedicated to her sister who is suffering with depression. Each song on the album features incredible songwriting. The highlight of the entire album is the title track, "Out of the Box," a song that Erin says is about breaking out of complacency and fighting your fears.

I was highly impressed with this album when I had the privilege of listing to it. It is an honest portrayal of life, a talented vocalists expression of what she believes in, and just a pleasure to listen to.
