Another greatest hits album? Not even close.

4Him has already tackled the world of compilation CDs with a total of three "hits" collections - "Best Ones," "Chapter One," and "Simply 4Him" each have their share of great ones, and each one are worth owning, but none of them can hold a candle to the uniqueness of this CD.

Don’t expect business as usual on this disc. These song arrangements are far from your favorites. I found myself reaching for the case many times to see which song I was listening to because each sounds so different from their original - a totally new arrangement. You almost feel as if you are at a 4Him concert.

These changes are great for a revisiting of old favorites, however at times you get lost because of small changes. For instance, lead vocals are switched on a few songs. Those used to Andy’s voice on "A Man You Would Write About" are instead listening to Marty. In "Before the River Came" the "hmmm" that Mark normally sings is part of the song. Now that "hmmm" is missing and the song has a different feel almost. It just blows you away, because this is not at all how you think a "greatest hits" album will sound.  Despite all of the changes, this album shines and is a wonderful collection of favorites, as well as a bittersweet reminder that this is the end of 4Him.

To sum up, I believe 4Him fans will truly enjoy this remixed trip down memory lane, however I would keep the old classics handy. Nothing is as good as the original.
