Wes has been responding well to his recent
treatments. According to the latest update from his website, he's
just finished the third round of chemo and is now back home. He's
been responding well to the medication for fighting infections. His
next chemo appointment is in a few weeks, so make sure you remember Wes,
Fran, Mitch, Harrison, and Walt in your prayers.
In related news, the Wes King tribute project is coming along
nicely. Steven Curtis Chapman, Sarah Masen, Michael W. Smith,
Nichole Nordeman, Watermark and many others have confirmed they will participate.
(Webmaster's note: As the project progressed these artists ended up
not recording for the project but no information was released as to why).

Here's an update from Wes King's website...
"I visited Wes at his home last
Thursday, he was in his second round of chemo
treatments & it was making him very ill. Since my visit last week
Wes' health has taken a turn for the worse. Apparently due
to the chemo treatments, his immune system has been so decimated that he
is extremely susceptible to infection. Wes came down with two infections
& by Saturday morning one had turned into pneumonia. Wes was in and
out of the ICU twice and we came very close at one point to losing him.
They have him stabilized right now and he is currently out of the ICU
& in an isolation room at the hospital. It has been a very
difficult, scary & exhausting weekend for the King family.
Thank you all once again for your prayers & support!"
