On September 10th of this last week, Trent Lenderink (husband of Tammy Trent), was tragically killed in a diving accident down in Jamaica. Trent and his wife were there for a first hand account of some mission work presently in progress. Though Trent and Tammy have no children of their own, Trent had a great love for all children and an amazing gift to communicate with them. There is a book and other projects that Trent was devoting his time to in his desire to teach and entertain young lives.

This summer of 2001 Trent's heart was best put to music when his wife co-wrote and recorded the song "Is Anybody Willing". Trent was always willing to humble himself, meet any need and touch any soul. Children loved to be with him because he loved them so much. Truly, Jesus shined out of Trent.

We are thankful to Mark Hammond who caught the vision of this song and produced it only for the sake of the lives it would touch. In the light of what has happened in New York and D.C. this last week, we now believe that this is a voice from heaven with a message of healing and unity. This is Trent's heart...Trent's passion. Jesus said, "unless a seed fall into the ground and die, it abides alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit". The love of God was great in Trent's life and so we expect that same compassion to overflow to countless others.

Trent Lenderink was a wonderful husband, son, brother, uncle, friend and child of the living God. As his family, we desire to release this song, sung by his wife, as a living memorial to a young man who had his Father's heart for the lonely, the hurt, for every boy and girl.

Sincerely, Trent's Family

After a few days of prayer and gathering their thoughts, Tammy and Trent's family and close friends search for a way to best express love and support for this wonderful dedicated couple. Trent's heart and vision were clear by his actions and words. He loved Jesus and he loved his wife, and was dedicated to her and the ministry God had given them. Trent's life has affected everyone who knew him and we desire to see his legacy of love and joy of discovery continue on in the years to come.

Tammy has and will continue to be in prayer concerning funds given in Trent's honor.

Our prayers are with you Tammy. May God's Grace continue to hold and strengthen you.
