Susan is featured on the new album by Mark Lowry called, "Be the Miracle."  She sings a duet with him on "I've Never Been out of His Care" and background vocals on some other songs.  This beautiful album is a great addition to your collection, and Susan's voice shines as always.

No word yet on the new album that Susan is supposed to be starting on soon, but that information will be posted here when available.

April 2005
Susan was recently interviewed in CCM Magazine.  After several years out of the spotlight, many fans began to question where Susan had disappeared to.  This article answered some questions.

To sum it all up, Susan said that she couldn't resist going into country music for a while because she grew up on it.  Her second country album never released and to this day she does not know why.  After leaving Capitol Records, Susan became a full-time nanny for a family, which she said was wonderful.  She spent the time getting herself together, then began to pursue Christian music again, eventually resulting in the album, "Lost in Wonder," which released a few months ago.

Susan is now working on a new Christian release, most likely to be a solo worship project because that's where her heart is now.  Watch for more details to be added here as they are available.

Click here to read an article called "A Sort of Comeback" that addresses a lot of questions about Susan's music.

Susan Ashton just returned from England where she had finished working on a project with friends Michelle Tumes and Christine Dente.  The album was recorded on a British label called Kingsway Records and will be available in the US on Sparrow Records on March 1, 2005.  Check out the cover and track listing here.

CCM Magazine talked to Susan and she confirmed that she left her country label, Capitol Records about a year ago.  She is now working on a solo project for Kingsway Records that as of right now has no release date.  Sparrow Records (Susan's old label) will be distributing it.  Susan said that she'd love to have the new album have a few "old hymns".

Susan was quoted in CCM as saying that she is "pleasantly surprised" how things are shaping up with new label Kingsway Records because it is turning into more than she dreamed it would.  "This is what God put in front of me right now, and I'm excited about it."
