Scott's new single will be the song
"Renee." Scott wrote this song after an encounter with
actress Renee Zellweger at a Starbucks. He said after she ordered
and left, there was a big buzz at the shop and he wondered what her life
might be like as a celebrity. He called it his one-sided
conversation with her that she'd never see. But perhaps Renee will
see it...
Scott toured this spring with Point of Grace. Leigh and Shelley of
the group were working out at a gym when in walked Renee and new husband,
country singer Kenny Chesney. Shelley had a new copy of Scott's CD,
and wrote a note on it, then Leigh went and presented it to Renee, along
with a brief description of what it was all about. Make sure to
request it on the radio.
