Mark's new album should be releasing later this
year. Check out what Mark says about some of the new songs:
1. Walking Her Home: About a first date for a young couple... One I have
been working on for so long and I am so glad it will be on this record!!
If you have been to my show in the
last 3 years you know how excited I am to finally have it finished. It is
really great!! A live show favorite.
2. She Was Watching: About a
little girl who grows up learning about the faith from watching her parents (her
dad in particular). It is turning out to be really special in production. This
one will resonate with anyone who has a daughter. I loved playing it for the
studio musicians before we recorded it. They all have daughters...they played it
so passionately. It really came alive.
3. Everything To Me: This song I co-wrote with Cindy Morgan (our last co-write
was "Letters From War"). This is sort of an autobiographical song
about me being adopted and how grateful I am to my birth mother for giving me up
for adoption, for the parents that I have and for the wonderful life that I have
had. This one will be really special as well. My wife cries (happy tears) when
she hears it! :).
4. Until I See You Again: A song about God assuring us that He is waiting for us
in Heaven, but also encouraging us to live the fullest most passionate life we
can until he calls us home. I wrote it as a ballad but we recorded it as an up
song and it is really catchy and infectious!

Great news -- Mark is newly engaged! And, it was
quite a creative proposal. Mark took several pictures of himself at places where
he and his girlfriend enjoyed going. The last picture was of him at the altar.
He gave them to her, and when she reached the last picture of him at the altar,
he said that the only thing that would make it complete would be for her to
stand there with him. Congratulations to Mark and his fiancee'!

Mark's second album, "Song Cinema," is, as
