Congratulations to Bethany and Shane Bernard (from Shane and Shane) on their marriage in late March!  Here is a portion of an article below where Shane talks about his engagement to Bethany:

How the engagement came about: Well, you know when you just gotta have something? Like, if you don't, you could die? Nothing could stop me from my pursuit: neither age gap [Barnard is 31, Dillon 19], nor industry pressure, nor the seven states in between us. Beth is irresistible.  Attraction to Bethany:  Where do I start? Beth is beautiful. She is humble. I love what she has to say. I love what she doesn't have to say. She is so in love with our Jesus that she doesn't care about anything but him. She would rather babysit than play a concert. She would rather feed the dying in India than have a hit song. She's clumsy, she's simple, she's complicated.

OK, say it with me.  Awwww!!  Congratulations to the two and prayers for a blessed marriage.

Bethany has a new album coming soon!  The album, titled "Waking Up," should be released later this year.  So far the song titles we have are "Jesus Tell Me What I Want," "You Are On Our Side," "Something There," and "You Could Be the One."  Keep watching for details.

Bethany will be featured on the project "Sing Over Me: Worship Songs and Lullabies" which releases August 1, 2006.  It is a beautiful CD.

Bethany recently recorded a song for the WOW Worship Aqua CD coming out April 4, 2006.  She sang "Holy Is the Lord".  To view the album and reserve a copy early click here.

As mentioned below, Bethany recorded a song for the "Chronicles of Narnia" soundtrack.  We just found out the song is called "Hero."  The CD releases on September 27th.  Other new music from Bethany will be on the Wow Christmas Green CD, as well as her brand new CD, "Imagination" which comes out August 16th.  Click here to see the full track listing, as well as the cover.
