"For Future Generations" - Golfers version


When you spend a lot of time traveling you look for ways to amuse yourself. Especially if you are in the car listening to CDs...

So I submit for your approval an amateurs attempt at a rewrite...with apologies to Mark Harris and Dave Clark and Don Koch I present to the tune of "Future Generations" the golf version:


"Fit of Frustration"

The shots are awful, they go everywhere,
The tops and chili dips cause me gloom and despair,
Too many double bogeys,
Come from a lost ball,
My handicap can't take much more,
I'm gonna chuck it all

The short game has it's needs, that's a lesson learned,
My swing coach says, there are greater concerns,
Cause I don't have the talent,
My bad shots are gonna thrive,
But this Golf Digest article,
Is sure ta' cure my slice

I deep sixed my sand wedge in the lake,

Hopefully you found this worth a laugh, I love the chorus, it cracks me up. Sorry to butcher one of my favorite songs but after a while in the car you get a little delirious...
