V*Enna information

Lucy Britten is from Bristol, England and Sharnessa Sheldon is from Longview, Washington. The two girls met in England when Sharnessa was attending the School of Creative Ministries in London and Lucy was already active in music ministry with a group called Psalmistry.

WHAT THEY DO FOR FUN:

Lucy says, "We like exercise.  We do love the cinema.  We love shopping."

HOW THEY GOT THEIR NAME:

Lucy says, "We thought it sounded kinda cute and girlie--a bit sassy.  Then we actually looked into it 'cause we thought we need a meaning to this name, and we found out that it meant 'the end.'  And we kinda thought, 'Oh, that's a little bit heavy.'  But then we realized that that was what's on our hearts 'cause we've got a responsibility as Christians to communicate that nothing on this earth actually lasts forever and that it will all come to an end.  And the only thing that lasts forever is Jesus' love.  That's the only thing that's eternal."

HOW THEY GOT TOGETHER:

Lucy said, "I was really praying about someone coming onto the team that could sing and dance and basically had the same heart as me.  And God's really sorted it out because we've actually become really good teammates.  We've got the same sort of heart, we love singing, we love dancing, and we're really good mates."
