MOST MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE: When I was a little girl, about eight, my dad would take each one of my three sisters and me on a different Saturday of the month to wherever we wanted to go. I chose the beach. It was an overcast day and the shore was covered with pebbles. We walked and talked for a long time -- about school, family and life -- just the two of us. MOST EMBARRASSING EXPERIENCE: I was a freshman at Ouachita Baptist University and had just started dating a senior. We were walking out of the chapel with a crowd of students behind us and I slipped on the brick steps and fell. Everyone saw me and a few even came over to help me up. I was horrified. HAPPIEST MEMORY: The moment Chris proposed to me, in Central Park across from the Plaza Hotel in New York City. He was on bended knee and the sun was setting. It was beautiful. SADDEST MEMORY: The day my dad had to go to prison. MOST TREASURED POSSESSION: My husband, Chris BEST PERSONAL QUALITY: Honesty WORST PERSONAL QUALITY: Organization. Sometimes I push myself too hard to have it all together and make myself crazy. PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT: The time I was chosen to do a solo in the SONshine Kids Choir when I was in the second grade, because it helped me gain confidence in singing. Also when I won the Miss OBU beauty pageant my freshman year in college, which symbolized to me a coming out of shyness and an ability to attain goals. GREATEST AMBITION: To be a Christian who is real; to be a good wife, to love my family, and to one day be a mom [since this writing Terry is now the mom to three kids] GUILTY PLEASURE: Chocolate cake, chocolate chip cookies (without nuts) HIGHEST IDEAL: To have perspective in life; to keep my priorities in line; to appreciate my family, my life and what I do. |
