Kim Boyce straps her then two-year-old son, Gary, into his car seat.  It’s evening and it’s time to be at the recording studio – now!  “Oh, Mommy,” gushes his little voice as he presses his face against the window.  “Look at the stars.  They’re beauuuuu-tiful!”  Kim peers out at one of her son’s many discoveries – one of her many rediscoveries.

“God makes things new to us through our children,” she says.  “Little Gary makes me more aware everyday of the beauty God has created for us to enjoy.”

Family has always been a special part of Kim’s life.  She grew up in Florida and sang together with her younger sister, Tina, and her mother, Gail.  After graduating as salutatorian of her high school class, Kim pursued a broadcasting degree at the University of South Florida.  During college, her inner beauty and talent, accompanied by her outer beauty and grace, led to her becoming Miss Florida and placement in the Top Ten Semi-Finalists at the 1984 Miss America Pageant.  In 1985, she moved to Nashville to pursue her dream of a career in CCM.

During the past 15 years, Kim has achieved much success:  seven Contemporary Christian albums, with eleven number one songs, two hit videos, repeat Dove Award nominations and she has authored five books.  Her early career was spend pioneering the genre of Christian dance/pop music.  After much commercial and critical acclaim, Kim began in 1994 to change musical styles to an adult contemporary sound.

“My own personal musical preferences were beginning to change, and I wanted that change to be reflected in my music as well,” Kim explains.  “Gary and I both grew up singing in churches with our families and now with the releases of my latest two albums, ‘By Faith’ and ‘As I am’, we’re able to sing in churches once again.”

Kim, and her husband, Gary Koreiba, now live in Branson, MO where Gary is a member of the popular Branson vocal group, Pierce Arrow.  They are the proud parents of Little Gary, 9, and Alexander, 5.  Kim and Gary have just completed their first duet album project, which is scheduled for release on the newly formed Renaissance Music Group label.

Kim has been though many changed since her days as the “Dance Queen” of CCM.  She is content in her life and the ministry, which she believes the Lord has given to her family.  Being a wife and mother has set her heart singing in ways that stardom never could.

GARY KOREIBA

Gary Koreiba grew up in Port Huron, Michigan, the son of a Christian bookstore owner. He recalls, at the age of 6, hearing the album "Andrea Crouch Live at Carnegie Hall." "I loved it," said Gary. "From that point on, singing was all I wanted to do. I fully intended to have a career in music." And he certainly has done just that.

By 18, Gary hit the road for three years with a band out of Pittsburgh, PA and learned about life in the trenches with a hard-working band.

Following the urging of friends, Gary continued his pursuit of his music in Nashville, Tennessee. Far from the usual Nashville tale of young "starving" musicians who wait tables and take odd jobs until they can get their "big break," Gary was only in town a scant six months before he got his first big break, singing background vocals for Contemporary Christian Artist Russ Taff. Gary toured with Russ Taff for two years before joining another CCM artist, Kim Boyce, on-the-road. Shortly after he started touring with Kim, love bloomed and Gary and Kim were married in 1990.

In addition to his work in Contemporary Christian Music, Gary worked regularly as a studio background vocalist in Nashville on country, pop and gospel albums. And he has toured internationally in Mexico, Canada and Ecuador. He has also been featured in the Gaither Homecoming Videos and has sung on Gaither albums. Gary was also a sought-after commercial jingle singer and sang on jingles for Ford, Pontiac, Cellular One, and other companies.

In 1997, Gary and Kim recorded the duet "Amazing Love for Me" which became a Number One song on gospel radio. The success of that song resulted in a new record deal to produce an entire album of diets. This album, entitled "Boyce and Koreiba," is now in the works.

Gary and Kim are the parents of two boys, Gary Lee II and Alexander. "We realized several years ago that we wanted to provide a stable environment for our children, and traveling extensively to sing would not allow us to do so. Joining Pierce Arrow in 2000 has given me the opportunity to continue to sing while being able to be home every night with my boys."
