Lori Wilshire was doing some work around
the house, her husband Micah was out
chopping wood near their rural
Virginia
home
when the call came. Lori couldn’t believe it.
She called Micah on his cell to share the news:
CBS Records was basically offering them a
deal, pretty much out of the blue.
"It was
'The Twilight Zone,' " Micah says. "But we
were living in 'Little House on the Prarie,' "
