Once a drug-addicted young man with a troubled past, now an introspective singer/songwriter/guitarist who is hugely popular on radio.  Shawn McDonald's unique style of music has been heard on songs like "Gravity", "Wash Me Clean" and "Take My Hand".  Shawn is married to Kate Adelsberger (aka Bethany Dillon's older sister) and they have a son named Cohen Reid (born April 29th, 2007).
